Branch Team Lead
Join our Team! We're seeking a customer-focused Branch Team Lead to support daily branch operations while delivering exceptional service. This role performs both teller and platform functions, supports cash management, and assists with training and development of teller staff.
Reports to: Assistant Branch Manager
Branch Hours
Monday Thursday 8:30 am 4:30 pm
Friday 8:30 am 5:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am 1:00 pm
Pay Information
The annual salary range for this role is $24.31 - $28.60 per hour, negotiable based on years of experience, skill set, qualifications and other relevant factors.
Incentive compensation is available based on bank and individual performance goals. Paid out quarterly and annually (based on hire date)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide teller and platform services, including opening deposit and loan accounts and processing complex transactions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and identify cross-sell and referral opportunities using a needs-based sales approach.
- Promote bank products, services, and digital banking solutions in person and virtually.
- Open and close the branch independently and assist with branch cash management, vault balancing, and general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accurate transaction processing and compliance with bank policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Assist with daily, monthly, and quarterly branch proof and discrepancy resolution.
- Support teller training, conduct weekly huddles, and assist management with staff development.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years' experience in the teller function, as well as sales experience, particularly in cross-marketing products and services. Proficiency with digital platforms.
- High school degree or GED is required.
- Knowledge of banking products and services required.
Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
Work is typically indoors in climate-controlled shared work environment with moderate noise.
This position primarily involves sedentary work with minimal physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. The role may occasionally require the ability to navigate stairs in emergency situations. Routine use of standard office equipment such as telephones, copiers, calculators, and computers expected, with computer-based tasks typically performed for an average of 6-8 hours per day, as needed.
The ability to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Travel may be necessary and could involve various modes of transportation, including driving or riding in an automobile, using commercial airlines, rental vehicles, or public transportation, and staying in public lodging facilities.
