Our client is one of Asia's leading financial institutions, recognised for their strong presence in private banking and wealth management. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to join their team and ensure their operations meet the highest regulatory and ethical standards.

Your new role

As a Compliance Manager focusing on the private banking sector, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the bank's reputation and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. You will provide compliance oversight, advise on regulatory changes, and partner with business units to embed a strong compliance culture.

• Oversee compliance matters related to private banking operations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and thematic monitoring.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Liaise with regulators and internal stakeholders to address compliance issues.
• Support senior management in fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-7+ years of compliance experience in the private banking/wealth management sector.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory frameworks (HKMA, SFC, AML/CFT requirements).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.
