Description
The Client Data Associate supports Chase Wealth Management and Digital Wealth Management client account maintenance. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving maintenance requests submitted by clients and advisors for brokerage accounts; facilitating communication within the team; and partnering with managers, team leads, and internal stakeholders to drive strategic projects. The ideal candidate demonstrates accountability and ownership, becomes a subject matter expert on processes, and successfully manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
- Support full-service wealth advisors for the JPMA line of business.
- Review and approve brokerage account maintenance service requests in accordance with FINRA rules and industry regulations.
- Apply a risk-management mindset to review and validate client data and relevant legal or governing documentation.
- Support digital brokerage services with straight-through processing and determine acceptance or rejection of client service requests per policy.
- Participate in projects, remediation efforts, and pilot programs as needed.
- Research and resolve issues for internal and external clients accurately and in a timely manner.
- Exercise independent judgment to resolve moderate to complex issues and escalate when appropriate.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement; analyze processes, identify gaps, and recommend automation or tactical solutions to enhance the end-to-end operating model.
- Adapt to evolving regulatory changes impacting brokerage accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all departmental and regulatory requirements (AML, SEC, DOL, FINRA, etc.).
- Support operational controls and contribute to procedure updates.
Qualifications
- FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses required.
- Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in investment-related roles with a focus on client service and support.
- General knowledge of brokerage industry regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional client service mindset.
- Creative thinker with the ability to transform ideas and recommend/implement process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- High accuracy, strong attention to detail, and excellent follow-through.
- Proven interpersonal skills; team-oriented, results-driven.
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership over quality, risk, and controls.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; advanced Excel proficiency preferred.
- Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools; experience with Signavio, Alteryx, and Xceptor is a plus.
