We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Review, Monitoring & Testing Specialist to join a foreign corporate bank. This role is critical in ensuring that our business adheres to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. You will play a key part in safeguarding the integrity of their operations by conducting reviews, monitoring activities, and testing controls across the organisation.

Your new role

• Conduct compliance reviews to assess adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Design and execute monitoring programs to identify potential risks and control gaps.
• Perform compliance testing across business units and document findings.
• Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to address gaps, mitigating compliance risks effectively.
• Monitoring staff personal account transactions.
• Review escalations from Group Compliance, including data collection, analysis, and documentation
• Prepare clear, concise reports and present recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remediate issues and strengthen compliance frameworks.
• Partner with departmental teams to develop operating policies, manuals, and procedures.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and emerging compliance risks.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Require around 6-7+ years of experience in compliance in Banking.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., AML, KYC, data privacy, financial regulations)
• Strong background in surveillance and auditing across diverse banking areas, including corporate banking, global markets, private wealth, and transaction banking.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
