Description
Chase's growing Content organization is hiring a Senior Copywriter to concept, write and edit marketing emails and branded digital content. Our mission is to create best-in-class content that helps Chase customers better engage with their credit card benefits, inspiring them to travel, shop and dine with Chase. This role reports to the VP, Lifestyle Editorial.As Senior Copywriter in Lifestyle Editorial, you will be responsible for developing content that highlights the benefits of Chase credit cards including Sapphire, Freedom, Ink and more. You will work closely with editors, marketers, project managers, designers/producers, photo coordinators and brand managers to ensure newsletters are delivered on time, meet editorial standards and align with business objectives. Your ability to craft customer-focused copy that communicates ideas simply, highlights what's new and prompts cardmembers to take action will be critical to success. Job Responsibilities
- Concept, write, and edit copy for monthly and quarterly marketing newsletters across Chase's credit card portfolio.
- Ensure copy is clear, engaging and aligned with brand messaging.
- Maintain the applicable brand voice for each card and uphold high standards for JPMC content.
- Provide copywriting and editing support for additional digital projects within Card & Connected Commerce.
- Collaborate well with other editors, project managers, marketers and internal stakeholders.
- Apply data and insights to continuously optimize content for impact and performance.
- Partner with the VP, Lifestyle Editorial to expand the credit card newsletter program and evolve editorial tone and content pillars.
- Stay current on trends in personal finance, travel, dining, and lifestyle journalism, bringing fresh ideas and editorial rigor to every piece.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of writing and editing experience with branded content, email marketing newsletters, or digital editorial with a strong portfolio of work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-versed in editorial best practices.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to align content with goals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver impactful results while respecting dependencies.
- Proven ability to interpret and execute marketing content briefs to create engaging content within tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of narrative storytelling and engaging readers through brand-owned content.
- Genuine curiosity about personal finance, travel and lifestyle topics.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Professional copywriting experience within financial services or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Chase's products and services.
