Description

Our client is looking for an Actuary to join their treaty team in London. This role is focused predominantly on casualty treaty for the Syndicate.

This role covers pricing, some reserving and the build out of actuarial capabilities which includes looking at how they can shape the book, informing the underwriters on pockets of profitability etc. You would be a key point of contact for the casualty treaty underwriters.

This role bridges the gap between the 'traditional actuarial function' and the underwriters therefore communication and the ability to build relationships is key. The hiring manager would like to interview those from consultancies for this vacancy.
