Position

In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek for aSenior Business Analyst to join ourCash Management and Corporate Banking Services department which is in charge of developing and maintaining the International Back Office Cash Management System of CACIB. This information system is deployed in 25 business units all around the world. The system has multiple modules to manage reference data, commercial back office functions (payments, remittances, loans, deposits, guarantees, letters of credit ...), accounting, management control and credit risk monitoring. The system caters to local regulatory reporting needs and head office reporting, based on a data warehouse.

The candidate will be in charge of understanding the requirements and to test the payment system of the bank which is Global Pay Plus - Service Platform (GPP-SP) from Finastra (previously D&H). The role will focus primarily on testing the various evolutions of the in-house solution together with the payment engine (GPP-SP).

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst:

1. Understanding the BRD and conducting requirement gathering by various means like brainstorming, workshops, Questionnaire and working with different stakeholders of the cash management team like Product Managers (Global as well as In Country), Client Services, Implementation, Operations and Finance.
2. Mapping the identified functional requirements and define a solution
3. Identifying the scope of the requirements, validating the requirements.
4. Working with Lead Business Analyst & Technology partner i.e., Solution Architects to agree on the solution.
5. Working as a liaison between Business users, operations and Developers.
6. Preparing various documents like BRD, FSD and reviewing SIT Test scenarios and Test Cases. Experience in Agile world is a plus.
7. Working with different stakeholders for product collateral and training needs.
8. Working with Integration partners and other vendors within bank
9. Identify & resolve issues and manage project risks, supporting different teams, chairing & documenting meetings.

As a Functional Tester:

1. Handle the core banking system's and payment system's various test phases : regression tests, integration tests, functional tests, test automation
2. Good Knowledge and working experience of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
3. Define functional test scenarios for core banking and payment systems
4. Overall responsible for ensuring User acceptance testing for all the streams.
5. Maintain up to date test libraries (test scenarios, test cases)
6. Working with SIT & UAT Testing Team, reviewing, testing scenarios, test cases and helping developers and testers in clearing their doubts about the requirements etc.
7. Recording defects utilizing defect tracking tool with priority and severity and alert the management
8. Manage planning, communicate with stakeholders
9. Prepare regular reports on test results
10. Supporting the business users for User Acceptance Testing
11. Supporting Operations team / Business Users team to complete the testing
12. Managing testing at times when required and found the issues / testing not closing or moving as expected
13. Lead Defect Management related actives

Qualifications and Profile

The position requires 7+ years of relevant business analyst experience with Payment systems and Core Banking applications.

Functional

1. Good knowledge in Payment area like interaction with Clearing, payment file format ISO20022, SEPA Products (SCT, SDD and Instant SCT) and SWIFT (Cross Border Payments). Hands-on experience with such data mapping and testing.
2. Hands on experience on payment systems and exposure to Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, Automated clearing house programs and channels.
3. Extensive knowledge on various kinds of payment products such as TT, RTGS, LVP, Payroll, Cheque, DD, Cashier Order, Mass & Bulk payments.
4. Good knowledge of reporting products like Intraday/End of period accounting statements - (CAMT53, CAMT54, MT942 & MT940 formats), Debit and Credit advises - (CAMT52, MT900 & MT910- formats) and Payment status reports - (XML Pain.02 format).
5. Proficient in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional & System Integration testing of banking and financial applications.
6. Experience in following areas is a plus: Retail Banking, Wholesale & Corporate Banking, Corporate commercial Payments, International & Domestic Payments, Payment Hub/Factory, Correspondent Banking, ACH, Real Time Payments, Cash & Liquidity Management, Compliance/AML, FX, Messaging (Swift and ISO) & Trade Finance.

Technical

1. Hands on experience on testing methodologies
2. Working knowledge of ALM/QC/JIRA
3. Experience is creating Feature files for Cucumber
4. Understanding of Graph based Database like JanusGraph and Elastic search.
5. Experience is Kafka platform for event storage and real time streaming of data.
6. Knowledge on Kibana visualization tool for log and time-series analytics and application monitoring.
