Apply now for the position of MSL Director, and you will serve as the principal interface between Siemens Healthineers and practicing medical providers to execute the overall Medical Affairs Mission.
This role is remote for candidates that reside in the US, but domestic and international travel will be required based on business need.
Your role:
- You will support the Medical Affairs department (i.e., by attending health care provider focused conferences, attending working groups, monitoring clinical guidelines) to gather insights and feedback to inform medical strategy and develop and execute external facing engagement plans.
- You will respond to medical questions from health care providers and support the development and delivery of provider focused education materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- You will develop, monitor, and implement MSL resources to provide needs based, value-added support to the medical and scientific community in-line with business goals and objectives.
- You will develop and implement strategies to establish and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with practicing health care providers in several defined clinical disease areas.
- You will develop and implement processes to define, document and report engagements with health care providers, ensuring both compliance and the establishment of metrics for the MSL function.
Requirements
Your expertise:
- Medical (MD) degree and MSL experience required.
- Knowledge of diagnostics’ application to clinical practice is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing direct reports required.
- Experience in the clinical disease areas of neurology, infectious diseases, or metabolic health preferred.
- Demonstrated outstanding knowledge of the MSL function, medical planning, and key medical expert engagement with strong, relevant clinical disease (5 or more years' relevant experience).
- Well-established networks and active relationships with health care providers.
- Executive presence with excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams; familiarity with MS Office, EndNote, Power Point.
- Domestic and International travel (up to 40%) with flexibility expected.

The pay range for this position is $207,000 - $276,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is (25%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
