Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review valuation packages with a high degree of accuracy; ensure pricing processes adhere to audit procedures and regulatory standards

• Handle and review NAV valuations for complex client funds

• Monitor and reconcile fund investment transactions and positions on a regular basis

• Supervise and mentor junior team members; act as a positive role model and provide coaching

• Serve as primary client contact; ensure timely response to requests and manage resolution of complex client issues

• Review PPMs and fund Supplements to ensure fund operations are aligned with legal terms including fee structures, NAV methodology, and terms

• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end reporting; prepare financial statements and audit support schedules

• Support onboarding of new clients and fund launches

• Recommend process improvements and participate in automation/efficiency projects

• Assist Department Head in compiling ad hoc reports, operational metrics, and assessing new business viability

Requirements

Assistant Manager

• 5-8 years of hedge fund accounting / fund administration experience

• Prior supervisory experience and strong client-facing skills

• Independent experience reviewing PPMs and fund Supplements

• CPA qualified or equivalent (HKICPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred

Senior Fund Accountant (Less Experience Considered)

• 3-5 years of fund accounting experience with hedge fund exposure

• Exposure to client communication; studying towards CPA/CFA is a plus

All Candidates

• Proficiency in fund accounting systems (e.g., Geneva, Paxus, InvestOne)

• Strong knowledge of hedge fund instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, swaps

• Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage
