On behalf of PwC, we are looking for a DAML Analyst for a contract from August 2026 until December 2026 based remotely, after initial training period on site in the Belfast office.

Purpose of the role:

The DAML Analyst will support the delivery, enhancement, and ongoing operation of the organisation's anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crime framework. Working within a regulated financial services environment, the role is responsible for implementing and maintaining effective AML controls, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, and supporting the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial crime risks.

You will apply strong AML expertise and a risk-based approach to strengthen compliance outcomes, enhance control effectiveness, and contribute to the organisation's ability to detect, prevent, and report suspicious activity.

What you'll do:

• Support the delivery and continuous improvement of the AML/DAML framework, policies, and controls.
• Conduct CDD and EDD reviews, including higher-risk customer assessments.
• Perform AML risk assessments and identify control improvements.
• Monitor and investigate suspicious activity, supporting SAR preparation and reporting.
• Ensure AML processes comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
• Support the implementation of regulatory changes and enhancements to AML controls.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to strengthen financial crime controls.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and AML reporting as required.

The skills you'll need:

• Proven AML/DAML experience within financial services or a regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions, and SAR reporting.
• Good understanding of UK AML regulations and FCA requirements.
• Experience applying a risk-based approach to financial crime compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with AML and transaction monitoring systems.
• Ability to work independently and deliver outcomes in a contractor environment.
• ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent qualification is desirable.
