[What the role is]

This role is responsible for the accounting for SLF subsidiaries and supporting the operations of the funds managed by the fund management subsidiary

[What you will be working on]

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

Fund management subsidiary

1. Timely and accurate monthly closing
2. Cashflow planning & execution
3. Handle statutory audit, GST submissions, tax and XBRL filings
4. Preparation of the filings to MAS
5. Preparation of Board Papers

Funds

1. Update of SOPs
2. Process improvements

Property owning subsidiary

1. Timely and accurate monthly closing
2. Work with managing agent to ensure timely collection of accounts receivables
3. Cashflow planning & execution
4. Handle statutory audit, GST submissions, tax and XBRL filings
5. Preparation of Board Papers

Others

1. Collaborate on operational and financial issues
2. Drive digital adoption within the teamSupport the Finance Controller/Manager in ad-hoc tasks

[What we are looking for]

1. Degree in Accountancy, with at least 5-8 years of relevant working experience
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
3. Good analytical skills
4. Good problem solving skills
5. Experience in the fund management industry is required
6. Meticulous, resourceful and able to work independently
7. Capable of managing tight deadlines and multitasking
8. Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
